It is very difficult to keep sale horses and the descriptions and pictures up to date. Please contact Sunglade ranch by phone to find out the particulars about each sale horse and any other horses we have for sale. All horses are started as long yearlings and progress rapidly thru our training program. The more training, the higher the price, of course!

Jets
2004 gelding "SG Chic Magnet" by Chics in the Male and out of Majorita Peppy. This is the first baby out of "Glory" and oh my goodness...Jets might be the best one I have ever raised. He is so natural... collected, smart, wants to please and athletic!! Plus he knickers to say thank you at the end of every lesson. How can you not love that! -

*Update:Well, we knew he was good, but wow! He won 2 futurities in a row, about $8000, a Lawson bonze, a buckle, a year's use of a trailer! This pic is his first run ever. His last show he was just loping through the pattern and scored a 147 and a 145! He has incredible presence and focus. And so laid back! Just wait until he's solid enough to run! This horse is going to be a consistant 74/75 with the ability to turn out even bigger than that with the right jockey. Jets is now with Duane Latimer for his derby year.

Smoke
2005 chestnut gelding "SG No Smokins Smart" by Chics in the Male and out of Smokin Aech. This is the first baby out of this young mare and we are very excited about this cross! Look at the hip and the flaxen mane and tail. And his disposition is incredible. He's catty, exceptionally smart and loves his lessons. This colt could go cutting, reining or working cow horse. He will finish about 14'2"-3" and is going to be a gorgeous 3 year old.

March 2010 Update: I must get a cutting picture of Smoke. I am SO pleased with this gorgeous little guy. Not only is he a picture with his long flaxen mane and tail and pretty head, but can he CUT!! I sent him to Cody McArthur for cutting training...I could only manage 5 months. Wow...I've shown him a couple times and never scored less than a 71. We don't have cattle so he is lucky to see cows twice a month, but is he fun. He's a HUGE stopper, extremely cow smart and got a big sweep. He was a fireball to start but putting him on cattle was like giving him a tranquilizer! He is so quiet now it is hard to believe he is the same horse. -

2009 chestnut filly "SG FAIR LITTLE CHIC" (Fair) out of FS Lucky Taters by CHICS IN THE MALE. We sold her full brother as a two year old and the folks LOVE him as he is so quiet and talented. This girl is prettier and a little more sassy. Really smart and loves to be worked with.

Update: Fair now has about 3 months riding and she is just like her full brother...laid back, talented and pretty. She is an extremely strong mare, smooth mover and easy to ride. AND...she LOVES tracking a cow. We've had her on the flag and she is exceptionally smart. Love this mare.

2009 chestnut filly "SG Aech She Smart" (Breeze) out of Smokin Aech by CHICS IN THE MALE. I am cutting on her full brother, Smoke. He is SO cowy. We are just starting the 2 year old. The foals out of this mare are feely, catty, quick and smart. THis little girl is going to have a grey mane and tail! THis pic is in early March of her yearling year..so she is pretty hairybut look at the hip and pretty head! "BREEZE" looks like she will finish about 14'2" -

Free 2003 July 1st Sorrel gelding "Canadian Male Eh" This gelding is absolutely gorgeous. He looks alot like "Bubba" in the head and his conformation is excellent. "Free" is a beautiful mover and a huge stopper. He has plus circles and stops. He loves to work hard and I am expecting to put him on cattle soon. I showed him in a couple futurities in his 3 year old year but I had an injury which kept us out of the ribbons. If you want to stop big and ride a beautiful horse, here he is!
