All Chics in the Male offspring are nominated to the Reining Alberta Sire and Dam Program, The Canadian Supreme. This makes them eligible for 3 year old futurities, and aged events in reining, cutting, and working cow horse. Reining Alberta, and the Canadian Supreme. You will have to nominate your offspring and can contact these organizations directly for details.

It is very difficult to keep sale horses and the descriptions and pictures up to date. All horses are started as long yearlings and progress rapidly thru our training program. The more training, the higher the price, of course!

2003 July 1st Sorrel gelding "Canadian Male Eh"
This gelding is absolutely gorgeous. He looks alot like "Bubba" in the head and his conformation is excellent. "Free" is a beautiful mover and a huge stopper. He has plus circles and stops. He loves to work hard and I am expecting to put him on cattle soon. I showed him in a couple futurities in his 3 year old year but I had an injury which kept us out of the ribbons. If you want to stop big and ride a beautiful horse, here he is! -
Jets
2004 gelding "SG Chic Magnet" by Chics in the Male and out of Majorita Peppy. This is the first baby out of "Glory" and oh my goodness...Jets might be the best one I have ever raised. He is so natural... collected, smart, wants to please and athletic!! Plus he knickers to say thank you at the end of every lesson. How can you not love that! -
*Update:Well, we knew he was good, but wow! He won 2 futurities in a row, about $8000, a Lawson bonze, a buckle, a year's use of a trailer! This pic is his first run ever. His last show he was just loping through the pattern and scored a 147 and a 145! He has incredible presence and focus. And so laid back! Just wait until he's solid enough to run! This horse is going to be a consistant 74/75 with the ability to turn out even bigger than that with the right jockey. Jets is now with Duane Latimer for his derby year.
Wonder 2005 chestnut filly "SG Wonder Chic" by Chics in the Male and out of the great producer Dainty Doc Otoe. She is an embryo baby and she is beautiful, with her doll head and big hip. Wonder has got her sire's wonderful disposition and tons of athletic ability. She will finish about 14'3". -
*January 2008 Update: This easy-going and talented mare is a joy to ride and train. She is very accepting, has a natural head set and will stop deep. She has a fluid turnaround. She will turn darker chestnut every year and is a picture with her big blaze and matched hind socks.
Smoke 2005 chestnut gelding "SG No Smokins Smart" by Chics in the Male and out of Smokin Aech. This is the first baby out of this young mare and we are very excited about this cross! Look at the hip and the flaxen mane and tail. And his disposition is incredible. He's catty, exceptionally smart and loves his lessons. This colt could go cutting, reining or working cow horse. He will finish about 14'2"-3" and is going to be a gorgeous 3 year old. -

This stunning filly is the last baby we have out of this wonderful mare and she is just like all the rest... pretty, talented, and intelligent. She will be a good turnaround horse and huge stopper and will likely finish between 14'3" and 15'
Abby: SG Aechy Breaky Chic 2006 Chestnut Mare
Abby is very sensitive and quick. She is extremely smart and willing and has alot of forward motion, like the other babies out of the dam Smokin Aech. This is a very nice cross on Chics In The Male for someone looking for a catty, reactive cowy horse. She is straight chestnut with a star, has no vices and has very nice ground manners. She's had about 6 months riding in her two year old year. Her full brother Smoke is doing extremely well in the cutting pen as would be expected out of this cross.
Lucky: SG Lucky Bottom Male 2007 Chestnut Gelding
Cow folks...look at this bottom side. If you know your cutting horses, you know that Jody Fairfax beat the pants off Little Peppy and that Lucky Bottom Ann was one of the greatest mares in cutting horse history. I looked long and hard for a mare bred like this! We lost the first baby out of this dam FS Lucky Taters by CHICS IN THE MALE so I am very excited to start this colt and have him go on. He was exceptional in his ground work this fall. I especially like his conformation...strong back, big hip and hind leg and of course his daddy's big blaze! He's kind and smart too.
Another gorgeous boy out of Smokin Aech. And already trying to work the dog...Quick, agile, smart and reactive, just like all the rest of "Pockets" babies! I like everything about him. He's got a pretty head and very nice conformation. Like all our youngsters, he is handled daily and is already wearing a blanket.
